I would really like to try this one out... but....
Wont it affect other games?
Will my other games run smooth? Like Call of duty 4,5 and such... because when I am out, my brother likes to play such games

I tried this one and I usualy don't like mixing the reg, but when I looked at the place where this one was going to be implanted I understood that this one could accualy work and won't do any harm...

From about 90-150-160 latency I'm now about 30 and after about 5hrs playing my top was 41. Doesn't mater where I'm at in the world.

Works!!! Cheers m8 for showing this for me.

Gonna check this out.. i did the modify now but will check up as i see if it works... i have good speed net from ips, and used winxp sp2 "hack"(rather a patch know as EvID4226Patch223d-en) since it was made, so never really had bad lags, this patch i must say helps lats Ms but it´s most powerfull for DL apps, like Shareaza (ofc the real Shareaza not the malware hoax)

You weren't banned for this, trust me. It's a simple registry tweak which does something I'm too lazy to explain here but you can read more on the link provided in the post.
Again, there's no way in hell you'll ever get banned for this.

I tried this today and my latency dropped from over 200 to around 70...in Shatt no less. I will keep testing this for a couple more days, but it's looks like it is working great. Thanks for the tip!

It worked much better for me, I don't remember ever having latency below 80, and now it's usually around 50, but even gets to 40ish (36ms on image included with post).

But going from 124 to 92 in your case ain't bad either for such a small tweak.
I'm glad it worked for you!

Did some tests: before using the "hack", I was getting an average 124 ms latency on a couple clean reboots; after using the "hack", dropped to around 92 ms...

This one stays on for now! :)

Thks for sharing!

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I told a couple of my friends to try it out last week and it worked for them also, so I guess this should work on more PC's. Hopefully it will for you also

Unlike your previous one, this one does LOOK like it MAY work so I'll give it a try tonight and will report back on the findings! :)

Already prepped the .REG file to import later to speed up the test process!
