I got an email today telling me I should go check out this Death Knight strategy guide. Frankly, I thought it will be horrible and useless, but it’s actually quite a nice surprise. It’s not yet finished, but you can download this 18 page file for free for a preview and see yourself what it’s all about.
What is it about
- gives you a list of quests and required items you can turn in for instant experience. Shouldn’t take more than two hours (assuming you farm the items with your main or get them on the auction house before) and will get you to level 57 easily.
- a list of consumables to speed up your leveling. Includes food buffs, potions, elixirs, flasks and scrolls.
- a list of items from level 55 to level 70 which you can buy on the auction house. I must admit it’s a pretty neat idea: why settle for Outland green quest rewards when you can have better rare quality items, or even a few cheap epics if you wish. Just like any other melee class, having the right gear speeds up leveling significantly. Examples: Lionheart Helm, Adamantite Breastplate etc.
- list of gems you should prepare for your gear, and enchants like Knothide Armor Kit which are really cheap.
There is one downside though. You can download this guide preview for free and without any obligations, but the real deal is scheduled to be released in November and will cost thirty bucks. If you want, you can preorder it right now and you’ll be notified as soon as it’s released. Judging by this preview guide, it might actually be worth it.
